In preschool childhood, the foundations of personality are laid, including the attitude to nature and the world around. Kindergarten is the first link in the system of continuous environmental education and upbringing, therefore, as a teacher, I form the foundations of a culture of rational environmental management among preschoolers, contributing to the understanding of various aspects of human interaction with nature.

I consider the environmental education of preschoolers, first of all, as moral education, because the basis of a person's attitude to the natural world around him should be fundamental humane feelings, i.e., awareness of the value of any manifestation of life, the desire to protect and preserve nature.

Forming a humane attitude towards nature, I try to ensure that every child realizes that man and nature are interconnected, therefore, caring for nature is caring for a person, his future, and what harms nature harms a person, therefore, actions , as a result of which the House common to all of us is destroyed, are immoral.

I convince children that in relation to nature they occupy positions of a stronger side and therefore they must patronize it, they must protect and take care of it, and also be able to notice the actions of other people, peers and adults, give them an appropriate adequate assessment.

Of course, knowledge alone is not enough to form a humane attitude towards nature in children, so I involve each child in practical activities that are feasible for his age - I create conditions for constant and full communication of children with wildlife.

As a teacher, my task is to bring children together with their parents to the understanding that we are all together, and each of us individually, is responsible for the Earth, and each of us can preserve and increase its beauty.

Target: To deepen the ecological knowledge of children, to educate them in a humane attitude towards nature, a sense of responsibility for all life on Earth.

Tasks:

  1. To develop in children ecological thinking, the ability to realize the consequences of their actions in relation to the environment; aesthetic feelings, the ability to see the beauty of nature, to admire it.

Preliminary work. April 22 is celebrated as Earth Day around the world. In our kindergarten, as in many other preschool institutions, celebrating Earth Day has become a good tradition. The main slogan of the Earth Day: "Think globally, act locally!"

On the eve of this holiday, in the senior mixed-age group of the MBDOU Kindergarten No. 2 of the village of Lubyany of the Kukmor Municipal District, we conducted a project called “Our Home is the Earth”.

The purpose of this project:

1. Encourage children to think about the relationship between man and nature, to feel that they can do something to preserve it.

2. To deepen the ecological knowledge of children, to educate them in a humane attitude towards nature, a sense of responsibility for all life on Earth.

Program tasks:

1. Deepen children's ideas that planet Earth is our home.

2. Raising the desire to protect our Earth.

3. Development of ecological culture. To develop in children ecological thinking, the ability to realize the consequences of their actions in relation to the environment; aesthetic feelings, the ability to see the beauty of nature, to admire it.

4. Contribute to the implementation of feasible "good deeds." To form in children knowledge of the norms of behavior in the natural environment and the desire to observe them in practical activities and in everyday life.

5. To teach children environmentally literate behavior in nature, a humane attitude towards all living things.

6. Enrich children's ideas about planet Earth.

7. Raising sympathetic, kind, merciful children.

8. Development of the ability to interact with peers: the ability to negotiate, compete harmoniously in subgroups, pairs.

9. Give children the joy of participating in a common holiday.

10. Involve children in all possible participation in the protection and protection of nature.

Conducting the Earth Day holiday in the older group of different ages.

1. Planting flowers.

There is a tradition to plant flowers in kindergarten on Earth Day. A conversation is held in advance with children about the role flowers play in our lives, how they purify the air, release oxygen, which a person needs to breathe.

2. "Let's decorate our planet!".

On walks, children make a kind of excursion around the territory of the kindergarten. The teacher conducts a conversation about environmental protection, about how important it is to keep it clean and beautiful. The teacher also talks about the inhabitants of our planet: birds, animal insects. About the role they play in our lives and how important it is to love and cherish them. A competition for bird feeders is announced in advance. Children of each group make feeders at home with their parents and hang them on the territory of their site. On the day of the holiday, the winners of the competition are announced. In the classroom, discussions are held about migratory and wintering birds.

3. The planet is not a garbage container!

A huge problem of our time is the problem of garbage.

The teacher tells the children about how people pollute nature by throwing garbage anywhere, and thereby cause indelible harm to our ecology, harm own health. She explains how to avoid these problems, the need to throw garbage only in specially equipped containers, waste processing plants, landfills, and why it is necessary to sort garbage if possible. Children help clean up litter in areas if it is safe for them to do so. A competition is held for the best crafts made from garbage “garbage fantasy” (crafts are made at home with parents).

4. Save water!

At the environmental lesson, the teacher with the children examines the globe, finds out what color it has the most, recalls that seas, oceans, rivers and lakes are shown in this color. And there is also water, which is shown in white - this is ice. The teacher gives the children cups of water and bowls of ice cubes, which they examine. Then the children try fresh and slightly salted (“sea”) water. The teacher asks what kind of water is suitable for drinking and explains that the planet has the most salt water, and fresh water reserves are very small, so water must be protected. In the classroom, conversations are held about the pollution of rivers and seas, the teacher shows slides, videos on this problem, talks about the state and protection of water bodies in the city.

5. Studying environmental signs

In the older group of different ages, an exhibition of drawings for Earth Day is held, in which children must draw environmental signs that remind them of the everyday rules of behavior at home, in kindergarten, in the village (not only prohibiting, but also allowing!), which they study in the classroom. The teacher discusses the content of environmental signs with the children. As a result of the discussion, two or three types of environmental signs are made, for example, drawings in red circles remind of what not to do, drawings in green squares about what can be done, and drawings in blue triangles what is recommended. For example, if we are talking about an anthill, the red circle can tell you that you can’t stir the anthill, you can’t step on it, in the blue square you can depict a hand with a magnifying glass - it’s interesting to watch ants, and the green triangle will invite children to make a small fence around the anthill, so that no one can destroy it. All drawings, regardless of the quality of execution, are hung on stands, on the walls, and become decorations for the holiday.

IN preschool age the basic relations to the surrounding world, to nature are laid.

Target environmental education preschoolers is the formation of a new type of person with a new ecological thinking, able to realize the consequences of their actions in relation to the environment and able to live in relative harmony with nature.

The experience of working in our group shows that already at the senior preschool age, children without much effort learn a set of environmental knowledge when they are given to children in an accessible and exciting form.

One of our tasks in the implementation of this project- contribute to the expansion and deepening of children's ideas about nature. To educate in children the elements of environmental consciousness, value orientations in behavior and activities, the desire to be responsible for the environment, to follow environmental rules; To form a humane attitude towards nature - the realization that man and nature are interconnected.
